Excel Aquatics Accomplishments

For over 40 years Excel has grown from a tiny team of 18 athletes into one of Tennessee's premier swim clubs, with hundreds of competitive swimmers.


Excel has consistently produced high level talent who have competed at Olympic Trials, Junior Nationals, NCSAs, Sectionals, and Southeastern Championships.  We also saw two athletes placed on the NCSA International Team.


Our competitive success has been sustained, especially in the Southeastern Swimming conference, where we have won the conference championship over 15 times.  From 2023 through 2025 Excel won both the short course and long course championship meet.


Excel has earned the distinction of being named both a Silver or Bronze medal club 11 times throughout its history.  This is a level of achievement afforded the best clubs in the country by USA Swimming.


While producing elite level athletes is exciting for us, we also have great success with our younger athletes as well.  Excel consistently has success with our youngest athletes, winning the Region 1 8&U Championship over the last several years.
